Since she first sang at the London Jazz Bistro, Emma has regularly appeared at The National Theatre, Quaglinos, Octave, PJs, Jazz7 and Londons famous Vortex Jazz Club. She has also performed at The Savoy, PizzaExpress, Mezzo and also Ronnie Scotts, where she was a special guest artist for Amnesty Internationals jazz benefit night for the victims of the World Trade Centre attack on 9/11. Continuing her work for charity, in 2004 Emma performed with the Simon Brown Trio at the Norwich Playhouse for a Jazz and Cabaret gala in aid of Cancer Relief. In September 2005, she appeared with Christine Tobin and Norma Winstone in Jazz on the Terraces inaugural September Song Jazz Festival in Dublin, a new festival to celebrate some of Jazz's finest contemporary female vocalists and their wonderful ability to improvise and interpret the standard. As a child television actress, Emma worked with Nicholas Lyndhurst, Penelope Keith and Dame Flora Robson. She also appeared in Granada Televisions Adventures of Sherlock Holmes with Jeremy Brett. She recently made a return to the film world to record the theme song for the Feature film Republic Of Love (based on the novel by Carol Shields), Directed by Deepa Mehta, and starring Edward and Emilia Fox. Emmas debut CD entitled goodness knows was released on Voiceprint Records in 2003, and received airplay and much acclaim on Smooth FM and BBC Radio. Panacy Recordings plan the re-release of "goodness knows..." for summer 2008. The newly repackaged CD will also include live bonus tracks from Emma's appearance at the September Song Festival.
